A heat advisory is in effect for our area during Fun Fourth weekend. We encourage all visitors to plan accordingly by drinking plenty of water, wearing lightweight clothing, applying sunscreen, and taking breaks in the shade or air conditioning when needed. If you begin to feel unwell, seek medical assistance immediately.
Park Hours Update for Fun Fourth
An important update for anyone planning to spend the day at Downtown Greensboro's Fun Fourth Festival. To help ensure a safe and smooth event for everyone, Center City Park and LeBauer Park facilities, including the playground, splash pad, and all food kiosks, will close at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, following the festival.
Closing a little earlier allows our team to safely wrap up the day's festivities, prepare the parks for everyone to enjoy again on Sunday, and head home to celebrate Independence Day and America 250 with their families and friends.
