Sadly, due to the rainy weather, Spring Blooming is canceled this year.

Friday, April 7, 2023

5-9pm

The UNC Greensboro Great Lawn @ Lebauer Park

On the First Friday of April, we kickoff the parks’ spring season by celebrating the return and this year’s first lighting of Janet Echelman’s hanging sculpture, Where We Met. 2023 marks the 7th year for this iconic aerial sculpture created in partnership with the artist and the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro’s Public Art Endowment. This free event celebrates arts in our community with a spring-inspired artist market and First Friday activities including the beloved Community Drum Circle! Reconsidered Goods and Art Alliance will be onsite with interactive projects and artmaking for people of all ages. Grab a tasty treat from park kiosks, Lawn Service and Parkside Pull-Up and local trucks, Khrissy's Kitchen, Taco Bros & Polar Bear Italian Ice
