We are so thrilled that Spectrum News highlighted Megan Blake's Dog Training and one of her clients, puppy Ginger! Pandemic adopted dogs may be unsocialized because of lack of opportunity to be out in the world now, with the social distancing and quarantines. They may be “perfect” at home and act fearful or “crazy” out in the world.

Spectrum News Story on We Begin Now™ Dog Training
This week, Megan Blake, The Pet Lifestyle Coach®, gives us 4 easy steps to get started with your new pup who is venturing out into the world:
1. Observe his energy and body language. And, if he's reactive, know it's ok.
2. Relax yourself to give him relaxing energy cues. And, use a neutral dog to give him behavioral cues.
3. When he relaxes, get his attention with a treat. And, ask for a simple behavior like "Look at me" or “Sit."
4. Reward all calm behavior.
Don't forget to join Megan Live on your computer on Zoom Every Sunday at 4:30! Join her to ask questions, learn new behaviors or practice what you worked on during the week!
