How To Prepare For An Evacuation With Your Dog

How to Prepare for Disaster Evacuation with Your Dog

Hi everybody!  Megan Blake, The Pet Lifestyle Coach®, here!  With all the unprecedented wild fires and hurricanes our country is experiencing, I thought it would be good to share with you my experiences in case you ever have to evacuate with your pets.  I’ve evacuated many times from wild fires in California and hurricanes in Florida with my dogs, cats and horses!  Would you know how to prepare or what to take in a minute’s notice?  Some of my tips include pre-packing veterinary records and meds, preparing a towel that will remind your dog of home, and finding pet friendly hotels in on your route in advance.  You can see my Top 6 Disaster Evacuation Tips detailed and how to organize these life and death choices on my video below
